Taoist Tianshan Qigong

Started in the first year of Shaoxi(1190 A..D.)of Emperor Zhao Chun of the Southern Song Dynasty(1127-1279), the Taoist Tianshan Qigong sect is based on the internal feat of the Danding Qigong sect and guided by the Mind Operation System of the Shenxiao sect. After 808 years of research by masters through the previous dynasties, the sect has gathered the strong points of Confucius, Taoism, Buddhism, traditional Chinese medicine and martial arts to form its own exercise system of "fostering the mind internally, showing the shape externally and the exterior supplementing the interior to become an integrated one."

 

Mr. Chen Wei, also named Yu Ting, is the 18thgeneration chief of the Tianshan Sect. .His Taoist name is Yi Qingzi and Buddhist name is Hai Hong. He is a council member of China Qigong Science Institution, the consultant of Beijing Qigong Institution and the standing director of the China Qigong Advanced Studies. .He is also the director of the International Tianshan Sect Association and the general manager of Beijing Tianshan Qigong Health Preservation Center.

 

Since early 1980s, Mr. Chen has taught 108 sets of different acting and motionless qigong to the public. He has published six academic books on qigong. He also created many trracles during his visit to France and the United States. A short time of qigong therapy conducted by the master has helped the bed-stricken to walk as an ordinary person does. After several rounds of therapy, the illness can be completely cured. For those cancer patients, their physical situation turned out to be steady. As a result, his qigong fans have grown to ever 700,000 both at home and abroad.

 

The Tianshan Sect sets up its Beijing Tianshan Qigong Health Preservation Center, which has its Temple of Earth Consulting Service, Tianshan Qigong Sect base (at Huoying County, Changping) and Hong Tong Consulting Service in Beijing to provide attentive, sincere and warm services and a sound surrounding to friends from all walks of life, to patients of different illness and to those wishing to practice qigong.
